Accessibility for WordCamp Kent (Online)

WordCamp Kent will be using the same streaming and captioning services as WordCamp Santa Clarita used this year.

Platforms/Services Being Used

We will be streaming sessions to YouTube, which will have comments enabled for attendees to ask questions. The stream can be watched from our site or from YouTube.

Closed Captioning

Live captioning will be provided for the event.

For sessions that span both stream rooms (i.e. opening/closing remarks, keynote, panel), captions will be provided in the first listed track ONLY.

Saturday – all-day captioning will be available in the Freelance/Business track

Sunday – all-day captioning will be available on the User/Marketing track

Regular sessions will have captioning in the track they take place in.

Help During The Event

Our speakers and volunteers will be available for day-of assistance and questions on the NEO WordPress Slack workspace. Please Note: You will need to be invited to our Slack workspace to join.
